As he enters his 18th year as Head Coach, his teams have won 12 Mountain View League Titles, reached 6 CIF Quarter-finals, 7 CIF Semi-finals, 2 CIF Finals, and 2 trips to the State Tournament. He is a 2 time CIF Coach of the year, 3 Time Riverside County Coach of the year, California Coach of the year, LA Times COY and 9 time Mountain View League Coach of the Year. Coach James enters his 17th year as 2nd Chair.  Prior to joining the Varsity Staff, Coach James was the Founding Father of Norco Girls Basketball and formed the Norco Posse and Outlaws travel teams.  Voted nicest smile in the Inland Empire.

Coach Hamilton begins his 14h season as Freshman Head Coach.  His teams have won the Mountain View League Title 7 times.  Mr. Hamilton teaches Computer Animation, Computer Science, Biology and Drafting at Norco HS.  A little known but vital service provided by Coach Hamilton last year was configuring the DVD recorder and digital camera to convert game tapes to DVDs for colleges to view.

"Champions are Made in 6th Period" is the slogan on the back of the Letterman's Jacket presented to Mr. P at last years banquet.  Mr. P runs the 6th period conditioning, operates the clock at home games, videotapes all games away from the Cougar Den and either travels on or drives the team bus.  Recently elected to Norco HS Hall of Fame.
